Algo que me apercebi, ao longo das viagens que fui fazendo e das memórias que fui escrevendo é que, por mais maravilhoso que seja o local visitado, por mais magnífica que seja a paisagem com que nos deparamos ou a herança deixada pelos nossos antepassados, o que nos vamos realmente lembrar com o passar dos anos, são as experiências vividas, as aventuras e desafios superados, pessoas conhecidas e as amizades que perduram.

Tem sido óptimo partilhar esta minha aventura que começou em Abril de 2014 e que tenho aqui descrito, porto a porto. Apesar de vos estar a dar a conhecer o que foram os meus últimos meses, estou de momento em Portugal, de férias, e só retomarei os cruzeiros novamente em Março.

Continuarei a escrever sobre os tempos de marinheira, mas como as aventuras partilhadas em tempo real têm muito mais piada, esta semana mostrarei a minha cidade, Lisboa, vista pelos meus olhos, aos estrangeiros. Serei a guia da Anna, uma Russa que conheci em Munique, Alemanha, numa das viagens que fiz durante o período de Erasmus, em 2010. Desde então, temos mantido o contacto e a Anna vem finalmente a Portugal.

Também sabe bem ser-se turista na própria cidade.

Something that I realized, during the trips I was doing and the memories that I was writing is that, as much wonderful the place we visit is, as more magnificent the landscape we face is or as great the heritage left by our ancestors is, what we're really going to remember over the years are the experiences, the adventures and challenges overcome, the people that you meet and the friendships that last.

It has been very nice to share this adventure which began in April 2014, and  that I have described, port by port. Though I'm trying to let you know how my last few months were, I'm currently in Portugal on holiday, and I will only return to the cruises again in March.

I will continue writing about my sailor times, but as the real-time shared adventures are much more funny, this week I'll show my city, Lisbon, through my eyes, to the foreigners. I will be the tour guide of Anna, a Russian friend who I met in Munich, Germany, in one of the trips I've made during the Erasmus period in 2010. Since then, we have kept contact and Anna finally is coming to Portugal.

It feels good to be a tourist in our own city for once in a while.
